NOVI SAD (FIBA U19 World Championship) - Brazil stunned Lithuania with a fourth-quarter blitz to win 81-75 in Group A at the FIBA U19 World Championship.
With both teams having won one and lost one of their opening two games, Lithuania had outscored their opponents 25-10 in the third quarter to look good for the win.

The did not take the lead, however, until Carlinhos Ortega buried a three-pointer with 33 seconds remaining. That gave Brazil a 77-75 lead but also put them in front for good.
In Paulao Prestes, Brazil had the game’s outstanding performer with 26 points and 19 rebounds, while Betinho Duarte poured in 20 points and dished out two assists.
But Lithuania also had two players who did not deserve to be on the losing side after delivering a pair of big performances.
Marius Valukonis scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds while Pranas Skurdauskas finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Point guard Zygimantas Janavicius had six assists to go with his eight points and three rebounds for the Baltic country.
Brazil have qualified for the Eight-Finals, while Lithuania can only be denied a place if Lebanon beat France heavily later on Saturday.
